that fly was sitting right on the front diffuser of my softbox.

shot with my sigma 70-300 @150mm with mf pentacon 50/1.8 reversed mounted.

crop, selective colors, curves, hue/sat, smart sharpen

One of my favorites for the challenge, gave it a 10. Great idea for backlighting - the lighting and translucency gives it an interesting surreal quality.

This shot is pretty wierd, in a good way. This is the most original fly shot I have seen in years, I really dig the colors and tones in this shot, very scientific. Gave it a 9, not quite a 10 for me, but this shot is heavy cool, would want to see it ribbon.
