Nice texture. It does seem to come off as an unsharp image that was sharpened, though that effect might have been caused by diffraction from so much backlight...

It seems a bit static. Did you try an orientation with the main branch cutting from bottom left to top right?

too close to a silhoutte, not enough shadow detail. Good composition though.

Here's the catch: the subject must not become a silhouette because of the backlighting.

Nice image - Looks a tad to silhouetted though which the challenge said to avoid. Would love some wall paper like this though!

this is a nice photo, but it think that the black fern makes it look more like a siloette
