So delightfully red. Sometimes I forget how wonderful red is. Thanks for reminding me. I like this image and its strong push to force the viewer to look at the stem (it is what kept the apple alive while it was on the tree), though, of course, viewers have their own ideas and would rather look at the soft bits. |

I'd like to see a little more DOF to see the front side of the apple in focus as well as the middle that already is in focus. |

the supershallow DOF does not really work for me on this one - too much of the image is out of focus to hightlight the great lustre and details in the apple skin. |
