 one of the only two shots i got that day, not my favorite but since there wasn't that many that entered in this challenge, i thought I'd just enter and see what happens.

I gotta say, this is great shot. Pix that are unlike any other shot in the challenge for some reason, bizarre to me, always tend to do quite poorly. I only hope that you don't put too much credence in the many votes and comments of folks that harp on, IMHO, idiotic things as hotspots, "don't see how it fits..." blah blah blah, and the like. I am never one to say it but it just seems so narrow-minded to me.

This is an imaginative shot and fits the challenge figuratively but in a nice creative way. Too bad for those who just can't see the beauty in this shot.

Definately agree with your title, but not sure that it is quite fitting to working without a net. Nice shot and it is very crisp and clear, therefore on its merits, 8

I think you have a great concept but the hot spots on the ball and foot are a bit distracting.

Nice capture - Like the interesting composition and tones of the ball - Even the harsh lighting adds here - My only gripe is though I can see you are making us feel like it is the road but it could also just be a line in a childrens playground - With that thought in mind it takes away a lot of the drama. Maybe more road or a different angle would have helped.
