Some friends of mine asked me to go to Banff with them for a day to get some portraits, I'd never taken portraits so I accepted for the practice and bargained with them to help me with this challenge. Had the idea as soon as I read the challenge, I assume there will be a few with a similar idea.

Not too sure what to expect out of this one, I felt there was something lacking from the image that I just couldn't put my finger on.

Just feels like a snapshot to me sorry. Great setting and a great idea, but just lacks the WOW factor. Some saturation and curves might help bring something fantastic out of this shot. Good luck

LOL nice romantic scene offset by the title

Uhm, he kindof looks too happy for that title, should have asked him to put on more negative emotion, like hanging his head or him looking really upset with his arms in the air. Setting is nice and so is the composition.

I found the BG to be busy. A tighter crop could be better.

Nice capture - But the lack of sharpness is very distracting

Super idea. Well executed. Your happy(?) couple could be better actors, but otherwise, well done.

Ouch...a real heart breaker. An intimate moment seems like it might be deserving of a little more intimate composition...a little too much going on in this composition.

That's the worse possible thing that can happen.

very personal moment, very impersonal framing. moving in closer or zooming would have been better.
