Great catch, great setup! Nice idea for the challenge - I think you got robbed in the scoring.

You are the king of subtle but very appropriate challenge interpretations. I really your take on this and I like the blues. Kind of appropriate for the kind of day one would be having if the coffee mug did indeed fall and break.

I really like this one - I think you got robbed. I was one of your 7's. I like the color range a lot.

Wish the cup had motion-blur, that would give a much more effective sense of imminent crash

Barely meets the challenge. Not a lot of creativity. Good freeze on the cup. No blur. 5

How many shoots did this one take. How many cups were done. There have been so many original shots in this challenge and this one would have to be one of the most original yet. Good luck

nice idea, I think you need a little more lightness in the background.

Some motion blur of the cup would really have sold this, as it is now it´s just to static for my taste. Not a bad shot though.

Nice shot. Is this stationary stuck to the background with a wire? If not it must be a very high shutter speed. Interesting how the flash reflection on front of the mug doesn't match the shadow position.

Either your white balance is off, or you have one seriously purple kitchen. Good idea...

How many did you have to break to one this good? Nice lighting and really crisp subject.
