 HDR from three RAW files. Some dodging & burning on the mailbox and land.

This is my brother's mailbox, in Keeseville NY. His wife decorated it. :-)

A charming shot ole m8. One of my favorites from the challenge. Bear said it nicely. For my taste, The HDR high dynamic treatment here is perfectly done.

This is gorgeous, Slippy! HDRI used to positive advantage without being overtly unnatural. How sweet to see such a flawlessly (and apparently lovingly) glorification of such a mundane object. For me, this is by far the best of your images that I can recall seeing. It suggests a new maturity of vision, or it's at least a glimpse of a side of you that you have not often shared with us. Congrats on top-20!

The colors in this are great, especially the contrast between the orange and blue in the sky and the contrast between the orange and the green. Great depth of field.

Love the composition and colors on this photo. The sky is wonderful! I really like the fire-orange clouds to slow fade from navy to slate blue to gold lit sky. The colors are beautifully saturated (without it being too oversaturated)...very rich in tone from those lovely greens to the colors of the sky. I like how you composed the shot too. The wonderfully decorated mailbox stops our attention right before the eye goes back to the road whose leading lines lead the eye off into the horizon to then travel up to the sky.

Nice shot - Like the tones - Wonderful lighting too. Just wish there was a zooming car going by or something just to add a little more interest. The picture seems very heavy on the left side and light on the right where a vehicle could balance this out.
