A fun shot that has been taken very nicely.

To refine it further for me, it would have been nice to see all of the plant on the left (rather than have it leaving the frame), and there is a triangle entering from the right by the childs hand that I find distracting.

these are both small points, but for me at least the attention to detail would have just finished this off.

That said it's still a charming picture.

What a cute little treasure this photo is! Love the set-up with the little boy in a bowler hat popping out of the chest. The old-style clothes and color tones give this photo a sense of nostalgia and times long gone - a 'timeless' moment of youth forever captured on 'film'. This is a good shot but I do have a few suggestions to make this pop visually even more. The contrast seems a little flat - deepen the shadows and highlights and this image will really pop off the page. I wonder if a square crop might be better than the rectagular one only because it will keep the center of focus on your main subject more strongly. Less background more of your subject for the eye to stay focused on.
