Taken at the Sea/Tac airport while waiting for my plane to board. This women was just looking so distraught i took this one. She left minutes later in a skurry. Wonder what her story really was.

the very second i saw those seats i knew it was sea-tac, what brought you here?
eta perhaps i can guess her story, a few years ago my ex moved to provo while her husband attended BYU, when i picked up my kids it was joyus but when i put them on the plane back home it heart wrenching,i usually sat and cried til the plane took off then i would call my ex and tell her the plane was off the ground, then i would compose myself for a bit then go home. maybe not her story but could be.
One day after i got home i took this shot

Thought it was me for a minute! :) With the amount of travelling I have done recently it could very well be. I love the angle that you got with this one.

I love this! The angle is really interesting, her body language is great, and I love the metallic shine on the chairs. Good job.

I like the graphic quality of this image. I would have liked a bit more detail in the subject though.

Love the tilt you gave to the composition. I've to many airports myself and have never been able to come up with a way to jazz up this simple subject. The look of the lady is so sad, you wonder where but especially why she was going where she was headed...

Looks like a kind of backlightning photo. I personally don't like photos where people are falling off, but in this case it isn't so disturbing.

Great lines and texture in this image. The woman looks lost in thought.

Crisp, clean, sharp. Incredible detail in this excellent image. Looks like a setup, tripod shot, but considering the setting, must have been a handheld. Congratulations on seeing this story and capturing it so very well.

Great job on the lighting control. The angle works very well and your detail is good. Frame works...only thing I noticed is the whitish blurb in the foreground center. Perhaps bring the bottom crop up just a smidge to get rid of. Great day one!!

this is really nice! I really like the angle you used, it really adds to the feel that she has the weight of the world on her, like the whole world is sliding down on her. You did a great job of keeping the highlights in check and still maintaing the shadow detail. Well done and great start!

Very good start for the 30 day challenge, it's not easy to take a picture in front of big windows and you did a great job.

I love the diagonal lines, and the high contrast of this one, as it definately catches ones attention right away.

Great shot, love the crop and the perspective you have used. The contrast is brill. Perhaps she was nervous about flying and had skurried off for a vodka to calm her nerves?
