I know this is not stretch on converting to B&W but I was mainly playing with some lighting options.

Hmmmm. Ok Router... I figured with the Desat and the Color filters that it'd there although it did have a slight duotone look to it. Here I used more Desat.

Another very nice still life photo. Love the lighting and the reflection. Excellent detail on the shells towards the front.

Your focus, DOF and lighting are spot-on here! Excellent study.

You did a great lightning job with the shells and the mirror. Personally I prefer more B&W, but in this case, I'm not sure.

(and I thought duotones were ok?) I like the very different textures here. Absolutely lovely conversion and composition.

By using some brighter or other lighting this could've been a very nice Highkey photo. the mirror adds a nice touch. overall a nice photo :-)

Like the way the top and bottom of the big shell look so different even though they basically have the same texture.

Supreme! This is a very well lit photograph! I appreciate the complications of using a mirror ;) LOL I would like to see the grouping a little less blown apart but if you were working on your lighting, I say, FANTABULOUS all the way around hehe

Love all the textures! I really enjoy seeing all the reflections-- they show more texture than hte tops of the shells. Great lighting -- the gradient is superb!

Great subject full of interesting patterns, textures and built to bend shadows and light. Throw it on a mirror and double the fun. Nice sharpness throughout the image. Contrast is good and there's a healthy amount of detail left in the dark areas. Lighting is nice, but it doesn't really exploit the curves in these objects nor emphasize the texture on their surface.
