I find that there is no real focal point in this shot. I would have prefered if you had focused more closely on one animal. Technically a wonderful photo. |

How cool that they have a carousel devoted to the endangered animals. Love the dots, lines and various tones the whole thing creates. |

Busy picture which I think the b+w contrast does jutice to, I really like the tones....it brings the detail out in the metal work....very nice. |

Impactful conversion on a very busy subject - I say you've handled it beautifully.
My only beef would be the frame - don't think it needs it. |

Lovely detail and great job processing. Would love to see the color version. Your B&W is great but IMHO does not do this beautiful carousel justice. |

The high contrast defines each part really well. Looks great! |

Love all the deatil but at the same time find it hard to focus on any one element at a time. Technically, this is still an amazing photo. |

I think the bright and high key like conversion on this really adds to the Carnival like feeling of the carousel. Like being a kid and not knowing where to look with all the bright lights and activities going on. Great job! |

The B&W conversion and post-processing is amazing, technically, I cannot say anything, it is perfect. I just think carousels deserve color to help focus the eye and convey all their livelyness.
By the way... what's a Lucis Art filter? |

Would love to see what this would look like in color, being as a carousel is very lively and fun. But this would work well in like an antiques thing. does that make sense? well, anywho. its great. |

Technically, this is a great photo -- very clear and a nice b&w conversion. However, IMNSHO, it's not the best choice for b&w. There's so much going on that those really cool animals don't stand out the way they deserve. I think color would help. As I said, this is my opinion and worth what you are paying for it. I love carousels.
Afterthought: I wonder how really close-ups, with a lot of bokeh, of some of the animal faces/heads would be, |

Beautiful definition here. Would make a good illustration for a carousel publication since it shows such complete detail. |

It's a busy photo, but not much public.
Have to find out what a Lucis Art filter is, but this looks nice.
Much contrast, but not very dramatic light. |

What a neat idea for a carousel! I love the way you captured it also. The cheetah (or jaguar or whatever it is) stands out nicely, my eye went straight to it. Great job. |
