I Love this area near my work. Its The Valley View, same area as my Image Grain picture was taken near Hale Farm. Usually I can drive down for lunch and sit and relax, watch some deer pass by, and then go back to work. I really wanted to try and do a painting type shot of this area and this challenge gave me a perfect opportunity. Took some time to try and get this shot just right. I hope it turned out ok, and is portrayed as a painting to everyone. I really like this shot and am happy with the way it turned out. Hope you enjoy it also.
Shot at about 1:00pm. Plenty of light, but enough shade from trees to get the effect I wanted. Set the Aperture to 20 and .4sec Shutter Speed. Set the camera for multiple shots, and just started a slow sweeping motion while it was taking shots. Took about 30 and when I got them on the computer, this one jumped out at me.
Adjustments:
Shot in Raw
Created 3 exposures from one shot. -2, -1, 0.
Merged in Photomatix and Tonemapped.
Converted to Jpeg.
Hue & Saturation, Curves, Selective Color,
