 Shooted at last hours of day, no direct sun, but still good lighting.

It is just as shoot, just a little levels to brigthen it, usm, resize, usm again, and save for the web.

Bit of a quandry here, I love the photo which is very simple and effective (great Bokeh by the way) but - even given the title - I am not quite sure that it fills the criteria of showing something in the act of closing

This is not a flower. This is one of the best fruits. Where in a desert do you live? Cactus apple yummy.

That's the fruit... the flower came before it. Seems like you need to clean your sensor. Anyway, it's a nice shot.

Great capture, cool idea. I suggest boosting the saturation just a little to bring out the colors more IMO.

Nice details on the cactus/flower. I like the blurred background. I think there is too much negative space at the top that distracts from the details of the plant.

good macro - it looks like someone needs to clean their sensor (don't forget that you can edit out sensor dust)

Nice colours and textures in cactus, narrow DOF. But I see no "act" of closing. (Couldn't manage a shot for this challenge for the life of me).
