 just sat at the flowerbed and shoot,shoot,shoot for bees are busy creatures. This was selected from around 150 similar shots. Post processing: crop, sharpen, slight adjustment on red and yellow saturation, downsized, and that is about it.

Sorry, stretching the theme doesn't work for me. I'd have to say DNMC. Nice photo, though. Good clarity on the bee and nice colors.

Beautiful macro, second look at it and kicked it up a notch, great focus, exposure and colours, nicely done :)

I would rate this picture a 9, butI don't feel it quite fits the category. I understand what you were trying to impart though. Excellent capture.

It's a nice bee/flower shot and in a different challenge I would have scored it higher. For this challenge though, it doesn't "satisfy my sweet tooth" as stated in the challenge description.

a different take on the challenge - the flower is nice and colorful, the bee in pretty good focus, but the burning/ vignette around the outside of the image actually makes this less attractive - seems almost muddy

A bit of a stretch for the challenge. As a photo, it's a tad too busy to work all that well. The pinks are quite beautiful.
