It's always challenging and rewarding when you can capture a closeup of an animal in motion and this was very successful. Great focus on the bird.

Good composition, the emtpy sky nicely attracts the eye to the subject. I would like a little more DOF, the tips of the wings of the bird are out of focus which (to me) looks a bit strange. -stephan

| That is an awesome angle that you took this one. I thought I wasn't gonna give another ten judging by the thumbnails,( I don't have that much left to vote on.) But this is just great. The bird looks like he's flying away with the cross. The wings even seem blurred like its flying. Great shot!! 10 |

| I think your title is odd. I like the photo, and think it would also work in a portrait frame, cropping much of the left side. |

Very nice shot! The bird in motion adds quite a bit to this rather than if it was still :)

| I'm fairly new to photography and so far I've had the hardest time catching birds flying close enough to get a good shot much less on a cross! |
