Quite a brave choice to try and deja vu 'Cherika', the fact that youare sitting on a new personal best shows it paid off big time. However this picture is not about what you score it is about having the most magnificent portrait of your truly beautiful daughter. I hope this is getting framed and is to be hung on a wall somewhere.

| Congrats! This was the one image that I thought was a pixel-for-pixel match when I first saw it. Even though I then saw it wasn't, that impression stayed with me, and I gave it a 10. |

| Let me start by saying by its self your photo would be deserving a ribbonâ€Â¦..BUTâ€Â¦We are comparing to those that have proved exceptional before our attempts. IMHO your lighting, composition, and pose perfect. Yours misses on only one aspect, the hardness of the model, there is a innocence to your young lady, with the original there is none, and that is what made it a blue ribbon winner. You attempted to emulate a tough subject, my vote a 9. |

| Absolutely wow! The B&W tones in this photo composition are simply stellar! You have a great dynamic range in your shadows and hightlights. Love the square crop for it really keeps the viewers attention tightly focused on your main subject. Love the look on the little girl's face it has much emotion - one just wonders what is so astonishing in what she sees. A very nice emulation of the original. |
