we had a thread attached to the balloons so we could take multiple pics.

however it was windy a my friend/hand model really did let them go forever prematurely

would have preferred to have the background elements more out of focus

the idea certainly fits the challenge. the focus looks a bit soft. the house is somewhat distracting. the colors are gorgeous.

The angle of the trees and house throw off the angle of the picture making it hard to look at.

Better with just the sky as a background.

I like how you've composed the elements here, especially how the hand is small and based at the bottom center. However, it's an action of "letting go", not a "feeling" as the contest specified. Oh well. Still a pleasant photo. :)

great idea.a little cluttered.
Could have increased the impact against that blue sky alone.

To emphasis the challenge it might have been better without the house in the background. The trees help to show the height of the ballons well enough. Also if the hand were a bit less centered it might be stronger.

I did this same shot as one of my two possibilities for this challenge. I wish I would have had your blue skies! Nice photo, but I wish the house wasn't in the picture. I think it would have been better with a simple background. Focus and exposure are good.

This was one of the ideas I thought of and chose not to enter. In retorspect, I think that was a mistake. This is a happy image with good colors. The focus is a little off, and the curvature effect of the tall trees doesn't help this, but, overall, a nice effort.

nice. i think the balloons and hand would have stood out better on just a blue sky background though.

Tiny bit more motion blur on balloons would have really made this work better. House in background is also a bit distracting, but good idea overally.

Nice colors, just a wee bit bright. Love the A-frame.

The busy backround didn't help your image tell this story.

nice idea. i think it would be better with no glove and a plain sky background
