This is outstanding. Amazing what a good eye can do with ordinary things. WOW. Red is my favorite color, so this jumped out at me. |

Great colors used here. The crimson in contrast to the light beige works well. I like the composition and the use of the lighter colored nut on the left. Very good lighting and details. 9 -danny |

Doesn't meet the challenge. [1]
Just kidding. Very sumptuous shot. Like the red spot editing, although I get the urge to find more meaning in the shot than I believe there is, which prevents it from having that x-factor for me. |

Wonderful shot, love the red and love the title ( I am from Alabama ..Alabama football ..crimson tide) :) Anyway, your lighting for this shot is great, adds focus to your subject. Great shot. |

Not sure what these are but you have good colour and good shallow D O F
Not to keen on the white border but no points lost for it it may be just a little on the large side
Well done |

Very nifty image! That one nut is so nicely isolated from its peers in both focus and tone. Very nice work! 9 |

I love the rich reds of this photo, has kind of a valentine vibe to it. I like the composition and your subject really stands out, as per the challenge details. Border is a little wide, but it's just a border, it's the image that counts. Nice job! |

I'm not sure I like or understand the choice of such a strong red colour but I like the image and the way one lone nut stands out. |

I love the red saturated colors you've used. The thumbnail absolutely does not do this justice. It's beautiful - great detail and composition. 8 |
