 Ruby Throated hummingbird taken in my backyard. Quite the challenge to take these little guys picture and this is probably the best I've gotten yet. I know that this might suffer b/c hummingbirds are overdone and people might think this is unoriginal but I love it.

love the details here. it is amazing to me that even at 1/2500 sec the wings are still a blur!

Good clean capture. Very nice detail on the head and body. I may have pimped the colors out a bit more - but thats just me. Whats tough about this is that even being such a clean capture it doesnt really stand out as memorable against some past high rated hummingbird images. It is what it is - a very nice pic.

Wow! I love the colors in this. I don't think I have ever seen a humming bird shot where I can see all of the details of so many feathers. Great job.

Excellent sharpness and detail! A 9 from me. The one thing that would make it better would be if there was something other than the hummingbird in the shot, just to provide a little bit of context.
