My first Free Study.
Channel mixer to monochrome, resize, sharpen, levels, curves, Neat Image (didn't seem to work too well :-/). A bit of dodge/burn (not much!), cloned out a seagull and some other people to leave the single person.
It wasn't overly bright, so I'm not sure why the shutter speed reads 1/1000, but there we have it. I think I metered off the sky. I like this image, and would probably vote it a 7 if it wasn't mine...meaning it's gonna be a mid/high 5'er, 'cause you Kats and Kittens can be harsh in the FS!

Pretty much as I predicted. At least I'm better than 50%. No 10's, but no 1's or 2's either. |

| I might have cropped the lighthouse in just a touch more to the left, but that's really being nitpicky. Good photo. |

| Great sky but the water and ground has lost most of its detail due to it being very dark on my calibrated monitor. |

| Really lovely. If it were mine, I'd do a selective adjustment of neutrals and white or maybe levels, to up the lighter tones a smidge. Nice composition and use of neg. space. 7 |

| I Love this shot. I love the clouds, this is just a great shot. I am unable to vote in this challenge, and just passing through with comments. Oh I do wish that wave wasn't there in the middle, but I still love the picture! |
