I love it when photographers go walking and find things and then share them. This is marvelous, light is awesome. And depth of filed is very good.

really like the dof.. this would have been a higher scorer if this hadn't been a free study..

Is that a Monet in the background? :-)

I saw yours in challenge. There are two problems why your did not score well.
1. There is a red round glow on it, which distroys the main shape, which is well visible in my shot.
2. your crop is not good. I mean it is good but it makes it ordinary. Everybody who shoots this subject crops like that. So what would have helped is unusual crop. Something that you do not see often. There are two in my portfolio, both of them are close and different crops. I think you should try again with this subject but with in mind that you are not going to shoot ordinary thing this time.
Thanks for comment.

You did better than me! Good job with getting your Top 3 score! Great lighting and great bokeh!

Well, not a lot here. Perhaps a tighter vertical or square crop would help. There is too much space on the left side. I know, I know, negative space is good--sometimes---but I think there is too much of it in this crop. There is not that much to look at here.

You name every blade of grass ?? Jeepers you really need to get out more lol.

A lovely capture, (and good to see Suzi and Betty in the background), but I can't quite decide whether this is pleasingly minimillist - or just doesn't have enough going on :- )

Whatever the outcome you have captured nice colours, nice DoF, and pleasing bokeh.

Simple and clean. Wish there was a bit more going on in the bokeh background.

like the tones.. but the title in this case distracts me. who is timothy and what does he have to do with this plant?

... is where? Hiding in the bokeh? Closer crop, more details.

I just love those grasses. I see them around here all the time and they are so delicate. Beautiful bokeh.

Simple and pretty with nice lighting. The one large bokeh dot near the right edge draws the eye away from the subject, however.

I guess some people are complaining about the title, but having had horses, I know! - 7
