Hmmm... yeah ok, I can make that stretch. But the colour is flat and the lighting too harsh, which let's this down big time.

For me, the lighting is a bit too harsh and the background is so busy it detracts. I like your overall idea/concept though - it shows creativity.

okay, I do get it.. and it's amusing. wish you'd chosen a better background and lighting.. pink and fuzzy just isn't the best background.. maybe buying some white/black/primary coloured matt chart paper would help for future backgrounds..

The shot seems out of focus, not really very sharp. The background does not enhance the subject at all.

The pencil is not as in focus as I would have liked seeing it is the subject in the shot.

The photo has too much artifacts. It seems it's taken with a camera phone.

Disguised and meets the challenge as in, What is this pencil? I like the use of depth of field to obscure the pencil writing and make it more difficult to discern the pencil. Great job.
