I like this shot. A bit bright, sharpened a good bit (to enhanve the textures...), nicely composed. The pic was 'tilted' during cropping to get the files at an angle. I also like the board's texture. The gloves are there to block the background as well as add another texture. I tried tighter and looser crops, and, well, at some point it becomes a judgement call. Thanks for the comments.

doesn't really hold my interest, perhaps some of the highlights are blown or there was too much sharpening done.

Might have liked a closer view. Too many different 'Textures' competing. Still, I like it.

nice composition with 3 big elements. Image could be a bit larger though..?

Very nice shot of a lot of textures. Well done.

Excellent idea..good image and focus. I would have not used the leather bag...maybe even more macro on the files.

neat - but you need to look at your lighting - this angle is from pretty much the same direction as the camera, and that really gives you no chance whatsoever to see the texture nor to capture it photographically. The composition is quite strong basically, but the confusion of elements, and the lack of visible sense of surface really hurt this entry.

Tack sharp, good textures, patterns and composition. Nice little spot of red where it is needed. Maybe (forgive me) a tad busy. Good work.

The texture is here. The subject and composition lack interest to me. The photo itself is nice and clear with good lighting.

I like the different textures you have here adn how they all "slope" down from top left to bottom right, except the bottom left hand corner, which sets up a nice contrast. I think something in the upper right hand corner besides space would have made it feel more balance.

Great compostition, but more DOF would have gotten this an even higher score.

good Idea! Just seems to be a llittle to much light to bring out the textures on the files, or maybe its just the angle of the light. (6)
