Looks slightly out of focus and the image is too small

:)

I think you might have resized this a bit too small.
10/21/2007 10:51:38 PM
I think this is too small
10/21/2007 08:39:26 PM
a tad bit blurry

Too small to evaluate. Please be sure to read the size guidelines before entering challenges. If you're experiencing difficulties resizing your image with your own software, search the "Tips & Tricks" forum of this website for more information that will help you. If you've entered this for a joke - ha ha... not.

Great idea and set up.
10/21/2007 09:30:42 AM
Honestly? Too small, too blurry, not executed well enough.
10/20/2007 10:27:28 PM

too small, boring concept, poor quality shot. 2

the photograph is too small and in my opinion the quality isn't good enough, but the idea itself wasn't as bad ;)
10/19/2007 10:46:52 PM
why so small?
10/19/2007 01:58:24 PM
Not very clear at all. Seems out of focus.
10/19/2007 09:13:13 AM
A good idea, and well composed and exposed. The leading lines create a good visual motion through the whole image. However, the extremely small size and soft focus really let you down here. Perhaps you could read the tutorial for preparing images to enter.

Image size is way too small and everything looks out of focus.
10/19/2007 09:11:29 AM
i really liked the play on the "red tip" of this image. i will state the obvious though, which i'm sure others have put not so nice...lacks focus, and the size really does do this image in. if shot straight on, without the distracting surroundings, where it's only the matches...and it's a little harder to distinguish which one's the pencil, this would have rocked.

still a nice picture, but has so much more potential. keep on shooting and learning, doing great :D
10/18/2007 05:39:51 PM
Nothing is really in focus I'm afraid.
10/18/2007 01:38:14 PM
Why such a small photo...?
10/18/2007 12:27:24 PM
The focus seems a bit soft, I might have cut the pencil off and just stuck it in the edge of the pack
10/18/2007 07:02:17 AM
Seems like it's really out of focus.
10/18/2007 03:46:53 AM
Image too small. Work on resizing image, also would like to see it a little sharper.
10/17/2007 10:15:28 PM
I like your idea. I do wish your image view was larger. For me, when the images are bigger, they can be more effective to the viewer.
10/17/2007 02:31:55 PM
Like the idea, wish it was a bit bigger and a bit sharper
10/17/2007 01:59:57 PM
Ouch... toooooo small. Set pixels to 72 dpi.
10/17/2007 01:03:02 PM
just in case noones else mentioned it... please use the maximum size allowed. many voters will penalize you for the small shot.

I am not a huge fan of the idea as it is though, sorry.

I like this idea! Too bad, this pic is too small
10/17/2007 09:48:38 AM
Out of focus.
10/17/2007 08:56:49 AM
Size matters
10/17/2007 07:21:52 AM
Good eye. I'm going to guess that you get some comments about the image size. Personally, I like it in a serendipitous way that fits this subject: A found correlation between 2 everyday objects and nothing more. The title is of course - a perfect match for it all.
10/17/2007 04:48:58 AM
None of this seems to be in focus? Making the pencil look a little more like it 'belongs' may have helped.
10/17/2007 02:04:51 AM
This seems like you are trying to stretch to meet the topic, the pencil doesn't really seem to be a match, it is just by some matches.
10/17/2007 12:41:56 AM
Image could've been bigger. The pencil would have been better placed a bit to the left, and the image could've been composed so the extension of the pencil was not visible. There are too many things that needed to be done to improve this image.
