Wow, fabulous image! I love the perspective, the converging lines of the wallpaper and banister, and the ghostly image of the child on the steps. This looks so great in b&w!! |

This looks like from a 40's horror film. The high contrast, the cool lines, the angle, and of course the ghostie. Great photo!! |

Love all the diagonal lines and great shapes here! and the curve just adds that little bit of extra interest and balances all the straight lines nicely ! That's some pretty funky wallpaper you got goin' there too, Erin! Comes up well in b&w! |

This worked out really well! I like the amount of blur - creates a definite ghosting effect - both haunting and sweet at the same time in an odd way, especially with the photographs on the wall. Excellent work from concept through presentation. |

Ohmy, Erin, that is amazing! It has a ghostly effect. This turned out perfect, and ooooooh, I love your design taste. What a striking stairwell you have. That design on the walls is awesome! It does look kind of Escher-esque! Amazing!

Sort of like an M.C. Escher staircase! The blurred child is rather ghostly. Great dark tones in this. |

Yummy. I can't get over the shapes created by the intersecting lines and that curvy part of your house above. The intricately patterned wallpaper is an antidote to the overwhelming formality of all those lines. And of course the hint of a human figure on the stair reinforced by the definite shape of the foot is pretty wonderful. A bonus is knowing it's Daniel (+friend), and his visage floats above the scene... layers layers layers. |

absolutely love this photograph .. it really looks like you live in a haunted house .. love the b&w for this too .. i got my tripod out yesterday for macro shots but ended up not using it .. i dont get it out much .. i'm a like 'wow look at that!!' and then shoot kinda person really .. altho i've been known to set up the occasional shot !! .. altho after having said all that, using a tripod still allows you to grab a wow on the run, it just takes a little bit longer .. :) |

Suitably ghostly -- especially with the portraits on the wall. 8) I really like the feeling of down... down... down......
