Poor Katee! I can relate -- we have goat heads (an evil weed that leaves behind stickers that can pierce a tire) in the huge 'untamed' part of the yard, and when the kitties stray out of the fenced area I keep weed-free they have to stop every few steps to pull out a sticker. You'd think they'd stay in the fenced yard, but NOOOO....
Anyway, I like how Katee is in the pool of light and how the trail fades into the forest, really gives a neat sense of depth! |

Nice shot of Katee, but that bokeh in the background really fascinates me -- looks like brush strokes. |

Always amazed by what the dog can reach. I like the longer view of going down the path. |

Love your lighting and DOF, the background looks surreal! Nice job on the editing. Hope your camera is okay. Mine has been doing the same thing off and on lately. Scary, I know!

Whew!!! From the thumbnail I thought she was lick'n other stuff. Beautiful light on katee. You obviously get out there early. Love the trees in background with the arched opening. Makes me wonder what's up there. (Like I don't know it's more Firetrail!!) I like the soft processing. |

Oh dear! I do hope that was just a hiccup in your camera's wellbeing. I'll send healing vibes for it.
Great photo of Katee - glad to hear she's ok now. Love what you did with the background there. Looks like a painting. |

Love that dog. What a sweetie. Nice photo. The background looks like a painted backdrop! Admit it, you are really living in a film studio in Los Angeles.
PS: Sorry to hear about your camera. I hope it was a one time aberration.
