I bet there's a squirrel there holding up that end of the pencil lol. Very cute idea! Love the colors. Excellent macro! |

Very pretty shot. I love the rich colors. It did take me a while to find the pencil, but that was fun. |

I like that you just used the end instead of the whole pencil... the round shape makes a perfect berry! |

Nice I doubt that we will see any repeats with this one. I like your thoughts here, and the set up too. I would offer one thing and that would be to use a reflector and remove the shadows from the left side of your image, it is a little dark, that being said it is creative. Good on you. |

Nice illusion. The sharpness and DOF is right on. Good use of complementary colors to make it pop. The lighting is a little harsh, and I think having an odd number of subjects would have made a more pleasing composition. |

Not a bad idea by any stretch but I think it could have been better executed - the pencil seems totally disconnected from the bush so the effect is lost. |

Great hide on the pencil. I'm just not sure about the location, I might have tried it at the joint of the two leaves above the real berry |

I like this shot a lot. I think cropping out the deep, unfocused bit on the right would make it even better. |

For me, the lighting is a bit harsh, but I like your idea. It shows creativity. I also wonder how it would look with an additional one or two "pencilberries"? |

Focus is compromised on this, too vague. |

Nice bokeh and nice background colors. Though pencil is minimal in the composition ( no i am not a DNMC freak :-)) |
