Loving the bichromate action. It does wonders on the normal boring farm scenes! I could do these pictures everyday.

My bichromate process - sorta -
I let the action run through and then take out the b/w layer and the gradient map layer. I also adjust the grain and several of the other "texture" layers. I like the random dust specs, so I duplicate and rotate the layer as well. Nomally I will dodge and burn the original picture to bring out specific areas of interest. I usually run a light LucisArt filter (exposure) on the background and sharpen it. I will also play with selective color and saturation.

Generally, I play until I'm happy.

You're quite the master of that bichromate action. This really looks like an old post card left in a drawer somewhere. Thanks for the tips on getting the most out of that action.

Oh how I love this. Just like a vintage postcard you found lying somewhere. Looks a tad sun bleached just like an old piece of paper would. Love the scene. I'm not familiar with bichromate. I'll have to try it.

Isn't playing fun?! This looks cool...kind of old timey, but with some really nice coloration throughout the image.

Well, I'm happy, too. This is very cool - along the lines of the other ones. Make an album - printed, that is - I bet it would go over well.
