 This sweety was in her mother's lap during a baby shower I attended. I kept trying to get the right shot.

Not sure all of the editing, as I get lost in it, but I did do some work in LucisArt and virtual photographer and applied a duochrome using xero graphics which is free. awpollard first told us about it when he used their soft vignette. I also did a gaussian layer in reduced opacity soft light mode.
I then "hand painted her cheeks, face and arms and did some burn and sharpen on her eyes. This just goes to show that I can't get a great result using basic editing. ROFL

I know... now that I'm all into the filters and plugs, Basic Editing is torture.

That said - this is an excellent baby photo. You did a fantastic job on this - very compelling. A lot of drama for a baby - love it!

That is one of the coolest baby photos I've ever seen. It's so atypical with that dramatic background in sepias. And what a perfect composition. Jeeeeez, I adore those chubby little arms.

I bet the baby's mom is going ape over this photo!

When I look at this photo, I just realised that I never made a digital photo of a baby (but lots of analog). Looks very nice, but perhaps a little soft. I like the light.
