 Took suemack's rain shot and did an overlay of a photo I took at a baby shower on Sunday. This is Barbara. She is the sweetest, nicest woman. She has had brain surgery,lost a husband and still has a wonderful disposition, and is sharp as a tack. I enjoyed spending time with her.

The rainy window so suits this wonderful portrait, really gives a sense of daydreaming! And wow, outstanding work on the overlay (little hairs and everything -- wow!) I would never have guessed this wasn't a single image!

I like the side view - I can see the intensity in her eyes. Nice use of the texture; somehow it complements her expression.

Oh DARN. . .I just remembered how AWESOME this would have been in the "Something Old" challenge. Why couldn't that shower be THIS Saturday instead!
