Well, I know that cat pictures aren't usually popular around here, but how could a owner of a black cat resist with a challenge called "Black"?

Those eyes really grab you. I'd like to see more detail within the cat - other than the eyes she's just a black blob - and the background doesn't help.

A very difficult exposure and IMHO you missed it by just a touch. Beautiful eyes and great composition, but you need just the ever slightest more detail in the fur (or less perhaps)

Nice eyes, but I wish I could see a little more detail in the cat. Dark pets are sooo hard to photograph. I have a chocolate lab, that is a tough one too.

just a touch more detail in the fur would have been nice, but this is a great image nonetheless. what a funny expression!

Not enough detail in the fur, but the eyes are great.

Black is really hard to exposure. You have the wisps on the 'outer' part of the cat, and certainly the eyes, but the details of the fur and his/her face is mostly lost. There is some, but not significantly enough to break up the mass of black.

I hope it's not bad luck for you. The focus seems a little off and no definition on the fur. Pretty cat.
