 From my October walkabout. I really didn't think I had anything for the free study. I have taken so many autumn themed photos this month, I decided to put in an entry that captures my month. I hope people don't get upset that I have already shown a similar edit.

I really like this darker and more crisp edit.

CS2 for RAW conversion. Upped sharpness, modified the exposure and white balance. Opened image in Elements 3 - noise ninja, no hue/saturation adjustment, and no further levels adjustment. Cropped to size, cloned out a few leaves in the foreground, cloned out a small fall ornament and the mailbox. Dodged and burned on road. Save for web. USM at small radius. Save

Nice finish in a fs considering that the subject is quite 'ordinary' which I guess is a testament to how strong your technicals were

Love the fact that the leaves on some trees are yellow not red which compliments the lines on the road and is nicely set off by the tarmac

Hey Pete, Not voting either but wanted to say you did good removing the mailbox and fixing the crack and removing the leaves in the in the foreground. Nice shot.
