 I have always found it hard to photograph gardenia flowers. I have persisted to get a couple of good ones this season, and this is one I like a lot.

My gardemia shrub is in my front garden, loaded with blossoms at the moment. They don't last very long, but the perfume is delightful, so please enjoy while you can.

I think this and the other one look like the flowers on the top of a wedding cake made of icing and look yummy enough to eat.....

I wish I could smell them too - it's getting cold here and everything is dying off. Nice composition; the flowers just flow downward.

Beautifully antique looking image. Gardenias are so gorgeous. My grandparents used to have a lot of them - and I agree - they smell divine.

brilliant composition and love the shapes .. i can actually smell that incredible sweet rich gardenia smell right now in my brain seeing this image .. thanks shez .. its a whole lot better than our smelly dog !!!! ..

Man - I love the way those things smell. I tried to grow them once and did not succeed. My grandfather used to throw coffee grounds in his soil and they thrived.
