 Looking up a rockface on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Almost straight from the camera --
In RAW -- adjusted sharpness (did I mention that I am really MISSING that L glass), and contrast.
In jpeg -- cropped, resized.

What a gorgeous blue sky. The fall colors sure stand out. Love the use of the negative space!

That is some intense color; must have been great to see in person.

Your L glass comment reminds me of something that has happened to me several times. I have a really good stereo and most people are really impressed when they hear it. But this guy at work has an incredible stereo system. After listening to his mine sounds like crap for a month. Then I get used to mine again and it sounds fine. Until the next time... So if the same holds true to glass, you'll get used to yours, only to be tortured again when you send back that L glass next summer!
