i really enjoy the crop of this and the solitude it shows. this is one of those that you were probably like "oh, i hope she turns the other way into the sun, please turn the other way, why aren't you turning the other way, TURN THE OTHER WAY!" but if you told her to she would have known you were there and it would have totally ruined it.
well, if this had been me that's what would have happened. :) |

Wow, her hair is absolutely luminous in this shot. It is set off so beautifully against the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway scenery. Great to see we'll be heading your way for Christmas this year. Our youngest son has to work the day before and after Christmas ... so the old ones will head down to keep him company.

| Great background for this shot. What's interesting here is how she's probably playing, while Mom is off taking pictures of the landscape. (I sometimes need to keep this in mind myself, because my kids don't alway appreciate those photo-ops like I do!) |
