| Simple subject. Very good lighting gives a beautiful shadow to the indention of the 5 and really makes it pop out of the shot. Great texture captured on the weight. I like that you were decided to include a portion of the roundness of the weight. I think this shot would've done very well in the texture challenge. "10" |

| The problem with photographing a number is that I suspect people might subliminally vote "5"... I almost just did, maybe because I haven't had my coffee yet today. :) Nice details, focus, composition and dramatic lighting. 7 |

| bad choice of number - I wonder how many people will give it a five - should have used 8 - the subliminal message is too strong. |
