 This was not entered for the score, but rather a a tribute of sorts to those that fought the fires in Southern California during late October/early November. One can never fully understand the dedication to what they do, until being in the war zones along side them.

An intriguing blend of sad events with cheerful color...sort of symbolizing that all will be okay in time. Very nice photo!

the composition and DOF here work so well as do the colors of their uniforms and truck against the surrounding devestation of the fires.

This is a cool capture of a moment, the one man smiling, in what must surely have been another harrowing day on the job for them...
