| The background is too distracting, having a texture in the background distracts me from the pine cone. You should try having the background farther from the subject so that it looks more blurry. |

| The depth of field could be a bit wider and pulled towards the camera, you lose detail in the cone right as it gets close. :) |

| Good subject, well isolated from background both in toning and focus. Fine detail not quite evident, but the texture still gets through. |

| I really like the pictures in this challenge that show me details I hadn't noticed myself in the past. This is definately one of them. |

| Neat shot. I think a differently colored background would have given this shot a little more interest, though your current background does serve to provide a nice contrast with the pine cone. |

| This is okay to me. I see the texture and I like the background of ...looks like pavement? Lighting is okay, but the texture on the cone seems a little soft in focus - it doesn't really "pop" out at me. |
