| OH MY GOOD! This must be the most fabiolus shot i have eer seen. It is breath taking. The structure, the composition, the colours. All is perfect. |

great composition is this a dyed feather or a real feather? shame that you lost focus on the tip of petruding piece, altogether brilliant pic!!!! Congratulations on a very well deserved ribbon!!

hmm, I only gave this picture 5 and it came out 2nd. I'm trying to think, why?.
I don't get a strog 3d textur feel from this photo. Bit confused how this texture would feel, I know these are soft feathers but I get a metalic wire feel from the photo.
I usually sit close to the monitor and all these strong lines almost gave me a headache but its better if I move about 1 meter from the monitor but I did not do that dureing voting.
After takeing a longer look and thought I would probably vote 7, from 1 meter distance. |

| Now this is a good shot. The composition is fantastic. I think this could be sharper and appears to have some noise (little dots going up the gold stem), but the colors and presentation make up for it. |

| Excellent color... good composition and lighting as well. This looks like feathers, but it also looks like really thin wires. I wish I knew exactly what these are, but I've liked this photo everytime I see it. |

Edit: This is my 1000th comment, so looking for a nice image to critique - gone through them all and this stands out by far as being the best. Colours are so righ yet calm. Will be in my faves ASAP.

| Wonderful abstract-ish shot. Great light, great feel. Not quite sure it really gives an impression of texture - it seems more graphical than that, more about lines and colours than surfaces, but I'm sure the impact of the shot will get past that in most voters minds. Still a 7. |
