Challenge: Single Light Source III (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D200
Lens: Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) for Nikon
Location: In house
Date: Nov 5, 2007
Aperture: f/4
ISO: 1600
Shutter: 1/50
Date Uploaded: Nov 6, 2007

Took this shot with a single, crappy little 60 watt lamp that normally sits on the patio and lights the steps. I bounced it off of a white board and onto my face and the mirror. I was lying down to get my face next to the mirror, then shooting with mirror lock up and a delay, so it was difficult to get things framed right. Did a little noise reduction, sharpening, levels, and rotate in PP. Let me know what you think.

Awesome idea and reflection. I like this a lot, in fact you got one of my highest scores.

very interesting inversion! took me a while to figure it out.

like the idea, good execution of it as well, only thing would be to loose hte edge of the mirror.

Good shot

I liked this one, great play with mirrors, bump to 9

I think this photo would have been better served had a frame-less mirror been used, and the hood strings been removed. Nice job executing though!

Looks like a ribbon to me. I think the lighting is more dramatic in some but this is such a dramatic composition. I'd like to see this with a tad more contrast. 9

Interesting, nice to see something different, not too obviously single light source though which might be your downfall

Your single light source is pretty strong. Narrow the light to create more drama.

Nice Idea. Just the hot pixel just above the top forehead detracts somewhat.

Haha, I like this one. I believe it's my favorite so far into the challenge! Looks like it's very evenly exposed on my monitor and all the collors save for the cyany cast in your reflection.

Clever!
