 sfalice caught on fast, this is one from the archives that I never paid much attention to.

The border was created in several steps. Copied the black from the background, grabbed the color of the peony, then I created the cream border, came back added the black, then another cream border, followed with the wider black border. THEN inspiration hit and I selected the wide black border and cloned the edges of the peony onto the wide black border. I hope this made some kind of sense.

Forebokeh, anyone? lol My eyes were instantly drawn to the upright petals and the drops on them. Cool border!

Artistic, graceful, all those good words. Nicely presented and a fresh point of view for a flower.

Now, where - at this time of year - did you ever find a peony!!!
