Very elegant, yet I feel his energy to run, explore, and enjoy life. Clearly the pose brings this out, but it is accentuated by the negative space. I believe you have captured his youth!
BTW, we have a third on the way. The girls want to name him Aiden (presuming it's a boy!), naturally their second choice is Ben. I think my wife but the Aiden bug in their ear! I'll let you know in March... |

WOW this is such a strong black and white portrait..... I love the composition and the placement of Aidan to the left side of the image..... Gosh those eyes are awesome and melt ones heart....., Also, I really think the lighting is perfect and highlights his features in the right places.....

Well, this is another one that should have score higher (IMO), but a wonderful keeper, in any case! |

Nice idea, I'm just not sure I care for it. I wish I could explain why, because it's well done. |

Very high impact shot, Aimee, both photographically and emotionally. This to me shows just how amazingly wise children are - they know so much more than we give them credit for sometimes. (Comment only.) Oh, and you know I LOVE the B&W. Perfect for this! |

nice flash work, maybe throw another light if you have it above and behind his head to separate him from the background. |

Darling little boy.. I love the pose. The expression on his face.. The focus looks perfect to me too.. I do wish it was in color.. It's just my humble opinion, but I prefer to see kids in color.. 8 for me. |
