Doesn't speak to me

Interesting texture, another angle or POV could make it more interesting and enhance the texture.

more of a pettern than a texture to me

Very nice capture. The border compliments perfectly.

OK. Color and lighting are good. It's just not very visually interesting to me.

I think the title of this photo is even more interesting than the actual photo itself! :)

Very illustrative photograph - had you tried raking the light across the surface a bit more you would perhaps have brought attention rather more to the texture than the colour and pattern of the thing. Good exposure though, and colour work. As a photograph, it doesn't do muich more for me than simply illustrate an object, however.

Very nice - you can see every stitch and even the texture within the threads.

Good take on this weaving which certainly fits the category., It could possibly use just a touch more contrast (sharpening) but the orange/black combination is lovely. Maybe just a slightly tighter crop on the right side. Lovely to look at.

I like how the white spots kind of stand out of the photo. The bottom section of the photo with the strings looks a little soft focus, but it might just be the way the threads look. something things are hard to make look right. The black background works here. Definately texture. I'm not really sure about the 3D part of the challenge. I don't really understand that much, but this isn't really 3D, but still an alright photo. ~Heather~

Good texture and composition and I think the border goes well with this one.

Nicely done, in a stock/advertising kind of way. I think you cropped it perfectly.

wonderful piece to have and great colors. I do think this is tilted to the right and that hurts the over all shot.

+ Textures! Vivid colours! Great contrast between foreground and background! Interesting subject.
- Can't think of any at the moment.
