I used a "sketch and paint" technique to make this ordinary shot of a pasture look "extraordinary" (hopefully). Still experimenting with this. BTW, "The Lucky One" is the horse in the foreground. :)

I have a feeling this picture will score low because of the effect but oh well, I like it. :) Hopefully some of you will also.

Beautiful shot, I love the way you edited this. It looks like a gorgeous painting.

I think the attempt was to make this sort of a water color? not sure but crave more saturation of the colors and a less bright upper third of the image.

don't nomally go in for these kinds of borders, but it looks very pastoral this way - nice

I like this photo.....I'm almost not sure what to make of it. This is the second time I've viewed it before voting on it. The colors and details really pop out at the viewer....I'm curious how much it has been digitally manipulated....I am coming back to this one after the voting is over and details are posted....

waaay too much photoshop.
It's not a photo anymore, it's a watercolor or something.

Interesting effect but the objects look odd - the horse appears to be half buried, the logs are distracting and the brown hollock in the middle is unattractive. I like the scene in the background better, especially like the spot of sunlight.

I can't vote in this challenge, and I'm glad, because I wouldn't know how to vote on your picture! It's lovely, beautiful, compelling, fascintating, inviting, soft, warm, but definately NOT mundane! Perhaps you're so used to this scene that it's mundane to you, but not to me! Regardless of the challenge, I really like your image, the framing, all of it! Good luck!
