I love the feeling of escape this one give me. I am floating somewere beyond time, and finally beached myself close to the shore in these blue waters.....

I walked through the soft sand on the beach, without my walker, all the way out across the rippled sand as the tide was out, until I came to the watera edge.
I then placed my blue glass ball, woven with twisted rope, into the soft sand, as the sea water washed around the ball close to a rock.

It was a long way, but worth it to get this shot. I suffered for two days afterwards.....

This is another amazing image. The colors with the sand and water and rock and ball and twine works great.

Very beautiful shez. We used to get glass floats washed up on the beach -- from Japanese fishing boats they told me. It's been many years since I've seen any.

Outstanding image!
Hard to say what I like the most: the image is quite intriguing. Then going over the details of each element of the composition really makes one think...
The smoothness of the ball with its beautiful colour, the rope around it - why? Then it's kissing the rough rock as saying: "please deliver me from the bondage of this rope"... The ripples on the water and sand...
All in all, it is overwhelming!

The flecks of sand in the ripples look great, as well as the perfect detail on the rope. I am glad you pushed yourself to get this one, the more I look at it the more I like ( at second glance I noticed the shadow of the rope behind the glass ball. Very nice photo.

I'm glad I clicked on this. The thumbnail does not hint at the nice details showing in this.

It was worth it, Shez - this is a beautiful, incredibly tranquil and relaxing shot. Light is perfect, focus spot on, nice gentle processing to leave us with a sparkling image.
