I like abandoned buildings and shoot them myself. However, this photo leaves me wanting more - what's in there? Not enough story here.

Nice shot! Looks like an old jail of sorts.

I would love to see this one in black and white or sepia....

Fascinating subject, I can't help but think you could have gotten something more striking out of it though.

I think this could benefit from more sky - I think the minimal amount of sky at the top is distracting. Maybe a closer shot (if that is possible?) would have been more appropriate. Still - great detail and a great subject. I like it.

Would have liked to have seen more of the structure ....

You are right this is a very weathered building and in much need of repair, but I can't get past the trash cluttering the ground. On the technical side, however, it is a very good shot, good focus and great lighting. Maybe if it was cropped just above the trash, you would still get the same essense of the original.

great subject; nice lighting; I'm thinking either no sky or more sky would be better

breath of air from the numerous skyscraper photos

I think if you had lessened your field of view and just concentrated on a smaller section of the building, like the entranceway with the rusty gate, it would have had more impact.
