 A very damp and misty day on Beacon Fell. I was amazed by the number of people out and about enjoying the lack of a fine view and the fine rain. I tried to go for a Red Riding Hood eye view with my new wide angle lens.

Very, very beautiful. I love the mist. The point of view is also awesome, and the way the colorful path leads your eyes into the dark, subdued colors of the forest is intriguing.

deep and dark, the mist in the forest, with the light behind the trees. however, the path appears to go to the dark.

that's pretty cool.

i'm not sure i'd be interested in picking any flowers on THAT path!

I love the lighting in that forest. It really makes you feel like there could be a big bad wolf waiting for you. Imo, the composition feels a little off, the foggy area on the top are a little distracting, and that wonderfully creepy forest is fighting with the green of the forground for attention. The concept is perfect!

I like this shot a great deal. Nice wide angle look, and the misty/foggy look is excellent. Use of the path to draw the eye through the shot is wonderful for the shot and the foreground elements frame the shot up very very well. Great shot!
