 this is katee ...
my daughter ali has trained her to do a high five .. i thought this was appropriate for the first day of our slice of life .. its a little bit as if she's waving hi ..
so its hi from her and hi from me ..

i stretched her out a bit .. she isnt as fat as that .. i thought it looked cute and funny .. that little barrel tummy ..

ppl have asked how i got this effect ..
here are the two textures i used and the workflow .. it doesnt tell you the entire story, but it does give you an idea .. i get that sort'v colouring using adjustment layer in colour balance and tweaking in either selective colour or levels .. playing around with those adjustment layers can create a whole heap of changes .. and in a basic edit, which this wasnt, you can create some amazing changes in colours especially ..



please feel free to use the textures by doing a 'save image as' on the opened image .. they are heaps smaller than your working file, especially if you havent resized smaller, but they still seem to work when you've rescaled to fit the image ..

I'm going to have to learn to play with these texture things. I don't have any of those fancy-shmancy plug-ins, so the textures will have to do. They look great on this shot. Looks like your Katee is quite the handful!

Like this one very much, as you can see most of the dog yet the texture effect is still there -- perhaps the greater DOF in this one compared to the other one is the key. Cute beast you got there. Big tummy makes me think about whether she is pregnant...
