Bit damp at the stock car track today .... in fact the only one's racing were the mud-men. By the end of the race they looked like moving mud monsters.

Wow look at all that dirt, I like the way thier tire tracks give the overall photo depth. good textures on the drivers. would want to have to clean that mess up :)

Great action shot, love the patterns made by the concentric curves, really conveys the sense of mudiness well.

This *IS* so much fun. It takes *forever* to get the mud out of the nooks and crannies, but it's worth it. You need a separate hose out back of the house to wash the mud off! Like that capture of the powerslide!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

That looks like a blast! This is one event I think I'd rather watch though instead of participate.

LMAO, damn that looks almost like fun except the whole clean-up factor! lol!! The mud between the seat & the tire almost make it look like the tire was coming off! Very neat, er I mean dirty! haha

Eeeewww! The first thing that came to mind when I saw this is how heavy their clothes must feel when they get off!!! They have like a ton of mud on them! Great action shot Sue.

Hi Sue!

Great shot - very surreal with the vehicles and the guys covered in mud. Love the composition.

I love the shot but would have loved to see the head of the second driver. How do they keep their faces clean? Love the motion.

Ok where is my Tide, I smell a comercial coming on. Wonderful stop motion shot. I'm not 100% sure about the headless driver in the background, but the focus really draws you to the first driver anyway.

WOW . THATS INTENSE !! ... great shot sue .. i reckon you'd want at least 300mm zoom so that you werent too close ..
i just wrote that and then looked to see wot lens you had .. 300mm .. lol .. you would want a bit'v distance between your camera and that flying mud .. that one at the front .. is that like a ton of mud behind his leg ?? .. you'd have to be keen ..
great start for another month of obsessive photography .. i think i'm addicted to these side challenges .. !! ..:)
