 Put my camera in the microwave, set the self timer, and shot myself through the door. Rotated and cropped, desaturated (but not all the way), and some levels and brightness adjustments. Resize, border, s4W. Expect this to bomb, big time.

Interesting. If you had your face little brighter and sharper, nit much, just a bit more, I would like this photo more.

I think this is a great abstract shot! Is it from inside a microwave? I think it's awesome because there's almost 2 dimensions to it, I look at it and I can see you fine, I carry on looking and I can see the patterns of all the circles! 9 from me!!

I like your take on your portrait. I think if you filled the frame with the screen it would have been a better portrait IMO. Still a nice shot. Good work.
